This lens was released by Nikon in 1981. It has 8 lenses in eight groups and focuses as close as 0.2 m.

I got this lens in 1988, with my first Nikon camera, an FM2. That makes it one of the oldest lenses I posses. It has come with me to jungles, highlands, beaches, deserts, cities, islands, helicopters, and more.

Through the years, I had lenses that I gave away, sold or were stolen. Not this lens. It's too special.
